Chef Valentine Warner, who will be at this year's Taste Of Abu Dhabi food festival.

Chef Valentine Warner — known for his outdoorsy nature, love of fishing and delicious TV shows — is making his UAE debut at this year’s Taste of Abu Dhabi food festival in November.

Warner, the star of Valentine Warner’s Wild Table currently airing on Nat Geo People, will be joined by Taste regular Eric Lanlard, a French patissier, UAE-based cookbook author Suzanne Husseini and pop-up chefs Steven Edwards and Josh Stanzl, returning from last year.

All chefs will be doing demonstrations and cooking classes during the event, which runs from November 5-7 at du Arena, Yas Island; more chefs are due to be announced, organisers say.

The festival also hosts pop-ups by the capital’s restaurants, which this year include new entries BOA, Royal Orchid Restaurant, Prego’s, Teatro, Peppermill, Zambar, Atayeb and Barocco; the likes of KOI, Villa Toscana and ShoCho will return. Entertainment comes from South African band 4THEMUSIC, Dubai-based quartet Maple Jacks and UK-based Leading Lights Productions.
