If you’ve ever thought that the views from Ras Al Khor over Dubai are wasted, good news: Someone has opened a terrace overlooking the water and the Dubai skyline.
Last Friday saw the launch of The Terrace at Dubai Creek Harbour. It’s actually the sales office of the new Emaar development on the banks of the Creek (so those of you who love those model cities can check them out indoors). But the real attraction is the grassy verge where a food truck from Vida Hotel is set up on Fridays and Saturdays, from 10am to 10pm. On the menu is coffee and soft drinks, beef and lamb burgers, crab cake and shrimp sandwiches and parfait-style desserts.
There’s also entertainment for children and free Wi-Fi.
