The biggest secret in town is out. No, we’re not talking about Rick Ross coming to Dubai, again.
It’s about where Tom & Serg’s latest restaurant, Muchachas is. You’ll remember we previewed it at Taste of Dubai in March.
Now we can confirm it’s opening at the Holiday Inn Express Al Safa, located, well, right next door to Gulf News.
The “Mexican Cantina” from Tom Arnel and Sergio Lopez (the restaurant magnates behind Brunswick Sports Club in Sheraton Mall of the Emirates, Common Grounds and Sum of Us) is due to open in the unexpected location later this month, serving tacos, drinks and more in a bright, fun space.
“Location is key for us when creating our spaces, and the Safa Park/Jumeirah beach vibe where the Holiday Inn Express is located is one that complements the Muchachas ethos perfectly” said Arnel in a statement this week.
“We love to create cool spots in places that are different and a little removed from your ‘typical’ restaurant spots, Muchachas is no exception — tucked away in the burbs away from the hustle and bustle of the city.”
If their other venues are anything to go by, the food will be great and the vibe fun — we’re big fans of the burgers at Brunswick (head there before seeing a movie, it’s just a few steps away).
