Lebanese Mazaher opens at DWTC

There a beautiful new Arabic food spot at Dubai World Trade Centre. Focused on Lebanese cuisine, Mazaher is helmed by chef Ebrahim Ayoub and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Daytime sees the restaurant take on a casual feel with freshly baked manakish and a daily plat du jour; evenings are lavish with daily entertainment and sharable dishes.

It’s open, but still an Enigma

Palazzo Versace’s restaurant, which will change its cuisine and chefs four times a year is now open, with the first resident being a holder of three Michelin stars: Chef Quique Dacosta. The menu remain confidential until you are seated.

“I am thrilled to be in Dubai and be a part of the unveiling of Enigma at Palazzo Versace Dubai. In my role as first Enigma chef, I am dedicated to showing the city’s diners a whole new side to food, and make my mark on the dining scene of this fine city,” says Dacosta, who will be here until April 12. Entry to the restaurant, which is open six days a week, is by advance booking; tickets are Dh650 (food only), Dh750 (food only on weekdays) and Dh850 (food only, weekends).

Manzil Downtown Dubai’s new brunch

There’s been a lot going on, food-wise, at this revamped hotel; now brunch is on the cards, too. The family brunch experience at Boulevard Kitchen offers a “specialised dining experience” for children, with their own buffet as well as face painting, arts and crafts.
