If you’ve always dreamt of being part of the Star Trek magic, this might be your chance. No pointy ears necessary.
An open casting call went up on Tuesday on the Facebook page of Miranda Davidson Studios for “the largest feature film to be shot in Dubai in over 5 years.”
Star Trek Beyond, the third film in the classic sci-fi reboot, which stars Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine, is set to film in Dubai in October.
Though the studio could not confirm to Gulf News that the casting call is for Star Trek Beyond, it is the only major production filming in the city over the next few months.
Anyone between the ages of six and 70, of any nationality or ethnicity, is invited to the casting call. It will take place at Dubai Studio City, Soundstage Building B, on the ground floor, between 2pm and 8pm, on August 11, 12 and13. Hopefuls are asked to bring their passport or Emirates ID.
