Greek composer Yanni has added a second date after his debut concert in Abu Dhabi on September 30 sold out.
The second show is actually a day earlier — September 29 — at the same venue, du Forum, Yas Island.
Yanni, 61, has consistently topped the New Age charts in America over the past 30 years. He popularized his own brand of fusion music, ranging across jazz, classical, rock and even electronic. In the UAE, he will be backed by a 15-person orchestra.
Ticket prices will be Dh495 for silver, Dh695 for gold, Dh995 for platinum and Dh1,295 for diamond, and go on sale at noon on September 8.
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix race ticket holds from 2015 and 2016 can avail a 20 per cent discount in the silver category.
