Malhaar, UAE’s first Indian ensemble, will present Jashn-e-Awadh — A Unique Musical Journey to the Land of Nawabs, on September 30 and October 1, at Ductac, Centrepoint Auditorium, Mall of the Emirates.

The 120-minute show, which will be the Indian classical choir’s biggest performance in the last five years, will present the grandeur of the court of Wajid Ali Shah, the last Nawab of Awadh, and a well-known poet, playwright and patron of performing arts. It comprises classical music, Kathak dance, and theatre in Hindi and Urdu, performed by more than 50 artists from UAE and India.
