Pitbull will perform on November 24 at du Arena, Yas Island, as part of Yasalam’s after-race concert series.
The Chemical Brothers perform on November 25, Lionel Richie on November 26 and Rihanna on November 27.
“This is the first year we have confirmed an international artist for the Thursday After-Race Concert,” said John Lickrish, CEO of Flash Entertainment.
In previous years, the Thursday night was reserved for Arabic talent, such as Cheb Khalid, Aryam and Fares Karam in 2015.
After-Race Concerts are open only to F1 ticket holders; the Pitbull gig will be open to any weekend ticket holder.
Tickets cost Dh2,080 (three-day pass), Dh1,875 (two-day pass) and Dh525 (day-long pass, only for Friday) at Virgin Megastores and Etihad Shops, as well as online via yasmarinacircuit.com or over the phone at 800927 or 02-6599800.
American hip-hop artist Travis Scott has meanwhile been added to the November 24 line-up of the free Beats on the Beach festival on Abu Dhabi corniche. British rap duo Krept & Konan have been added on November 26.
The acts join Sean Paul, The5 and Nancy Ajram on the weekend bill.
