Indian stand up comedian Jeeveshu Ahluwalia, who was to be in Dubai for Desi Laughs at Ductac, Mall of the Emirates, will not be performing on October 20, due to “personal reasons”.

“We had to go in for a last minute postponement of the event as the artist could not make it due to some unavoidable circumstances,” organisers Glam Affaire Events said in a press statement on Monday. “We will be announcing the new date in a couple of days.”

The show, Jeeveshu–Unabashed/Uninhibited/Unapologetic, has been performed in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines earlier. This will be the first time Ahluwalia will be performing solo in Dubai. He made his Bollywood debut with Tamasha, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone directed by Imitaz Ali.
