Winners and runners-up from the televised Got Talent franchise will perform twice daily at Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi, starting January 14 and running until January 20. The shows will take place at 4.30pm and 7.30pm.

Japanese artist Kenichi Ebina, winner of America’s Got Talent in 2013, combines acting, storytelling and dancing, while eight-year-old Issy Simpson, the runner-up of last year’s Britain’s Got Talent, showcases her affinity for magic. Shawn Chua, a Singaporean ventriloquist and a 2015 contestant of Asia’s Got Talent — he was the first ventriloquist to receive four ‘yes’ votes from judges — will also perform.

He is joined on the line-up by the winner of 2014’s Ukraine’s Got Talent, Gennady Tkachenko-Papizh, who imitates animal sounds using only his mouth, and the winner of 2016’s Romania’s Got Talent, Laura Bretan, an opera singer.

Circus performer Tatiana Kundik is also from Ukraine’s Got Talent; she will be in attendance, as well as Ok WorldWide, the semi-finalist free runners and hip-hop dancers from Britain’s Got Talent.

Last year’s France’s Got Talent contestants Florent & Justin, known for their duo dance skills, will also take to the stage. Florent, who is paralysed and in a wheelchair, dances with best friend Justin.

Standing room for the 45-minute shows is free of charge. Seated tickets are Dh10, and VIP seats are Dh25, available from the Marina Mall Customer Service Desk starting January 11. All proceeds will be going to a local charity, according to a media statement.
