Spanish Flamenco dancer Eva Yerbabuena will perform her Carne Y Hueso show at Dubai Opera on October 5.
Yerbabuena, born in Germany as Eva Maria Garrido Garcia, started flamenco lessons aged 12 and was performing professionally by the age of 15. She’s since started her own company and choreographed and directed several shows, including 5 Mujeres 5, La voz del silencio and Eva.
“Eva Yerbabuena is one of the world’s great dancers and an icon of Spanish cultural performance. It’s an honour to present her debut in the UAE and I am so pleased Dubai Opera is able to welcome a star whose dynamite performances define the incredible art of Flamenco,” said Jasper Hope, Dubai Opera’s Chief Executive.
Tickets for Carne Y Hueso, beginning at Dh200, go on sale from midday on July 6 online.
