Renegade Brass Band, China Moses and Poncho Sanchez are the opening acts at the three-day Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival 2018. They will warm audiences up at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre next month.
Renegade Brass Band will perform on February 21, bringing their high-energy brand of hip-hop brass to the stage ahead of Duran Duran. Singer China Moses will take over on February 22, opening for John Legend; she released her first single, Time, aged 16, and continues to impress with her soulful voice and a masterful control of tempo.
Finally, Poncho Sanchez will be joined by trumpeter Terrene Blanchard on closing night, putting on a Latin-infused set ahead of pop star Ricky Martin.
The Jazz Festival is in its 16th edition in the UAE.
