Disney’s Beauty and the Beast will return to the UAE next year. The theatrical show will land at Dubai World Trade Centre between January 6-9 as part of an international tour. It showed in Abu Dhabi last year.
The English-language production is brought together by the creative team behind the original Broadway show. It is one of the longest-running and highest-grossing musicals in history. It first opened in 1994 in New York City, and the 2016 tour will celebrate its 21st anniversary.
“With Broadway quality throughout its production, setting, costumes and cast, the beloved story of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast will take the entire audience on [an] incredible journey. It’s a show we highly recommend to adults, families and all theatre fans across UAE,” said Sia S. Far, Managing Director of Alchemy Project, the local organisers behind the show.
