For about Dh2,000, you can get a tablet as powerful as your laptop and an amazing projector that could possibly be a blessing for some and a quirky add-on for others.

We’ll get to the specs in a bit, but the main features of this 10.1-inch tablet are its four different usage modes (Lenovo does love its yoga positions), an integrated projector (more on that later) an amazing QHD screen that would make you question your own eyesight, and a decent battery life.

It runs an Intel Atom quadcore processor with Android 5.1 out of the box. It is fitted with 2GB RAM, 32GB of memory and a microSD card slot that’s expandable up to 128GB.

The battery in this thing is a massive 10,200mAh cell that can reportedly last up to 18 hours. The cameras are all right: a 13MP snapper on the rear with autofocus and a fixed-focus 5MP lens on the front. But tablets weren’t made for photography, so it’s really no big loss here.

Don’t count on this projector to match your Dh3,000 plus machine at home. It may not offer glorified 1080p resolution but the pico (pocket) projector can deliver a screen size up to 70 inches. It sits on a rotatable hinge and churns out an output of 50 lumens.

The hinge helps you either project on the wall or ceiling (if you’re lying down). You would need to kill the lights and close the blinds though — but hey, that’s a small price to pay for a tablet with an in-built projector.

Thankfully, Lenovo didn’t solely focus on the display and projector. Sure, you can plug in external speakers to the tablet while you binge-watch Netflix’s Daredevil on your ceiling, or you can leave it au naturel and let its four (yes, four) front-facing speakers take care of you. The Yoga Tab 3 Pro rocks four integrated front-facing JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos sound that make this one of the loudest tablets I have come across.

If you have read this far, I’m guessing you’re in the market for a tablet or an ultrabook this Gitex. Pair it with a Bluetooth keyboard and the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro will not disappoint, so get this on your shortlist.
