What is Gitex Tech Week? Gitex stands for Gulf Information Technology Exhibition. The Technology Week by Gitex is an opportunity for the decision makers in the information technology and innovation space to get together. The series of conferences and exhibitions during the event portray the latest advancements in technology and also lay the ground for future developments.
When From Sunday, October 18 to Thursday, October 22 2015. The opening day kicks off at 1pm and winds up at 7pm. On all other days, the event starts at 11am and closes at 7pm.

How much There are two registration options for the event, one as an event visitor and the other to participate in the conferences.

Parking Free parking available at car parks 1A, 1B & 1C, located in front of the Convention Gate entrance. Paid parking available in the multistory car parks, one is located behind the Shaikh Maktoum and Shaikh Rashid Halls whilst the other is across the road from Hall 1. Dh10 per hour Metro Dubai World Trade Centre Taxi Taxis will be in plentiful supply.

Who should visit? Visitors to the Gitex Technology Week constitute ICT professionals, largely from the telecom and government sectors. The event expects a footfall of over 130,000 professionals from over 150 countries.
Conferences and CIO breakfast briefings The highlight of the Gitex Technology Week are the exclusive closed-door invite-only sessions for C-level executives involved in the future of technology. There will be three of these one hour CIO breakfast briefings on October 18, 19 and 20. The other conferences aim to touch upon all sectors and opportunities with themes involving smart cities, innovative technology and the internet of things (IoT).
