Tell McDonald’s a joke today, get a snack

McDonald’s UAE’s latest campaign has turned jokes into currency. And willing comedians get rewarded with a tasty treat.

The joke in question is the classic, “Why did the chicken cross the road?”

Together with the launch of its limited-time menu item: The Schnitzel, McDonald’s UAE is inviting Dubai residents to grab a free Schnitzel in return for telling their favourite version of the gag.

Today, 16 January, for one day only, head down to the McDonalds in JBR from 11AM onwards and try and make the staff laugh.

Just make sure you’re funnier than us. Though Carlo did feel sorry for us and we walked away with Schnitzels anyway.

Going forward, the Schnitzel comes in two flavours: ‘Salt & Pepper’ and ‘Spicy’ and will set you back Dh9 A-La-Carte or Dh17 for a meal.

Note: The Schnitzel will be available in McDonald’s restaurants across the UAE on the 15th of January, but the joke exchange offer will only be available on the 16th from 11am onwards in McDonald’s JBR restaurant, while stocks last.
