The third annual wheels Car Of The Year awards ceremony was held at Jumeirah Emirates Towers on Sunday, February 12. Attended by the region's motoring industry leaders, winners' trophies in 16 categories were presented at the event. The winning cars were selected by the wheels editorial team from new models in various segments launched in 2011. While the list of 15 category winners included the McLaren MP4-12C, Chevrolet Spark, Jaguar XKR-S, Lamborghini Aventador, Peugeot RCZ and Toyota Yaris, the coveted overall wheels Cars Of The Year award went to the BMW M5. The winner of the Readers' Choice award, selected through an online poll, went to Audi A7
