I have been a huge fan of the Asus convertibles starting with the Transformer Prime and the VivoTab. Asus just seems to get it, and the Transformer Book T100 is a device that you would have to try very hard to find a fault with.
The T100 is a 10.1-inch ultra-portable laptop with a detachable HD display that can be used as a stand-alone Windows 8.1 tablet. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z3740 Bay Trail quad-core processor, features 2GB of memory and supports an additional 64GB
of storage.
In laptop mode, the Transformer Book weighs 1.07kg and when detached, 550g. Additionally, it is just 10.5mm thin. The T100 is equipped with stereo speakers that incorporate Asus’s SonicMaster technology. Another amazing feature of the T100 is its battery life. It is equipped with Asus Instant On technology that powers up the device almost immediately. The 31Wh lithium polymer battery can fuel regular and constant usage for up to a day on a single charge. Asus claims it can last up to 14 days in standby mode.
Lastly, the T100 comes with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote.
