Games 15, the biggest gaming event in the Middle East, and ESL, the world’s largest e-sports company, are set to host the most anticipated e-sport
tournament in the region, featuring top first-person shooter (FPS) action in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

The ESL ESEA Pro League invitation-only tournament will see six of the best professional teams from around the world compete for $250,000 (Dh918,000) in prize money.

Games 15 will be held from September 10-12 at the Dubai International Marina Club.

Known internationally as the most prestigious Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament series, the ESL ESEA Pro League will showcase talented competitors prior to its season two kick off. The six world-class teams are Fnatic, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Natus Vincere, Virtus.Pro, Team ENVYUS and Cloud9.

“We’re looking forward to the next season of ESL ESEA Pro League with excitement, and sincerely welcome Dubai as the host city of the kick-off event, considering its historical significance for Fnatic and Counter-Strike,” said Patrik Sättermon, COO of Fnatic, the winners of ESL ESEA Pro League’s season
one competition.

Apart from the FPS tournament, the event will also feature an expo and festival, which will offer gamers early access to the
latest games and demos, and include appearances from celebrity guests, activations and cosplay among other stuff.

Games 15 celebrates the culture of gaming in the Middle East and aims to solidify Dubai as one of the most relevant gaming hubs in the world. It caters to all gaming enthusiasts, from avid to casual console and PC gamers.

This year it’s organised by Extra Cake, the company behind the Middle East Film and Comic Con, and The Middle East Gaming Alliance and supported by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.
