Dubai: The opening of Apple’s third store in the UAE got a special welcome when none other than the crown prince of Dubai paid a visit to the two-storey mega store in Dubai Mall recently.

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, along with his entourage, was spotted browsing the shop on Thursday.  He was given an exclusive tour by the Apple store team and was reported to be the first customer.

The visit didn’t go unnoticed and fans who felt lucky to be just outside the shop wasted no time taking some videos.

Images of the young prince, dressed in white kandura and flanked by his all-male entourage, have been circulated in social media.

The new store officially opened in Dubai Mall on Thursday. It is believed to be the largest in the region. It is located near the Dubai Mall fountain and occupies two floors.

The retail outlet is expected to become the region’s meeting point for creative-minded people and a place of learning and inspiration. Visitors will be able to create, collaborate and experience the best of Apple, all in one place.
