Doctor falls to death from 20th floor in Sharjah

Sharjah: A 62-year-old Iraqi doctor died after falling from the balcony of his 20th floor apartment in Al Khan area, Sharjah, on Monday.

Eyewitnesses saw the man falling to the ground.

A Sharjah Police official told Gulf News the Iraqi doctor died on the spot.

“Police and ambulances rushed to the spot after receiving the report about the incident at around 5pm,” officials said.

The body was moved to Al Kuwaiti Hospital at around 6pm.

Al Buhairah Police are investigating the incident.
