We are staying in Al Shuwaiheen area of Sharjah, since the past 12 years and would like to report an issue.
In our neighbourhood, near the Sharjah Art Museum, there are no street lamps. Especially in winter months, this becomes troublesome, because when we drop our children off for school at their bus stops, it is very dark.
Motorists coming from the direction of Ajman and going towards Dubai often race through the lanes at high speed in order to avoid the traffic on the main road.
It seems a major accident is waiting to happen. I request the authorities to please provide street lamps and speed breakers for the safety of residents in this area. I hope they look into this serious matter at the earliest.
