Australian singer Dannii Minogue has stepped down from her role at the fashion brand she set up.
The 41-year-old confirmed she will not have any involvement with her Project D fashion company. The news came just weeks after she ended her business partnership with the label’s co-founder, Tabitha Somerset Webb, reports contactmusic.com.
Minogue previously insisted she would be “considering a number of options for the Project D brand moving forward”, but she has now decided to walk away from the company she helped to create.
“In March 2010, I teamed up with Tabitha Somerset Webb to launch the fashion label Project D. Over the past three years we have launched a clothing line, a fragrance and a watch collection. I have now decided to step down from the brand and will no longer be associated with Project D London moving forward,” Minogue said in a statement.
“I have loved being a part of PD and am proud of what we have achieved. I wish Tabitha all the best with her business and would like to thank every person who supported us in this project,” she added.
Minogue and Somerset were in Dubai in November to launch Project D with luxury retailer Boutique 1.
