Yota Devices, the Russian mobile start-up behind the world’s first “two-fronts” smartphone, have launched its second-generation Yotaphone 2 in Dubai on Tuesday.

The front part of the device combines Android familiarity but the back of the devices has the e-ink display, which uses a Yota Always-On Display for e-reading, notifications, outdoor visibility and more. The front has a high-definition 1080p AMOLED screen for everyday use such as social networking, browsing, watching videos or playing games.

It is priced at Dh2999 and is on sale in 20 countries in the Middle East, the UK, Europe and the CIS.
