Dubai:
Normally, the golden boot is given to a football player who scores most number of goals in the World Cup, but Emax is offering five golden boots on July 14 [as a part of its promotion].
The electronics retailer is giving one each in five countries in the Gulf — Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE — as part of Fifa World Cup promotions.
The boots were displayed to the media on Wednesday.
Neelesh Bhatnagar, Chief Executive Officer of Emax, told Gulf News that each boot contains 272 grams of pure gold and is worth Dh50,000, including making charges.
He said the draw will be held in the respective countries. The promotion started on June 4.
