Dubai: Shoppers looking for smaller tablets will have plenty of choices this holiday season as the new iPad Mini will be launched on Thursday at 7pm across the UAE by Apple retailer iStyle.

- The iPad Mini is on sale from Thursday in the UAE.
The 16GB with WiFi will cost Dh1,299 while the 32GB with is priced at Dh2,199.
The smaller version of the iPad has a 7.9-inch screen and is thinner and much lighter than the full-size model.
The iPad Mini is 7.87 inches tall and 5.3 inches wide, compared with the full-size iPad, which is 9.5 inches by 7.31 inches.
It has a resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels at 162 pixels per inch with 5MP camera on back and a low resolution camera on the front. It gives a battery life of 10 hours.
The US company has sold more than 100 million iPads since 2010. Analysts expect Apple to sell between five million to 10 million iPad Minis this year.
