Dubai: Gamers are flocking to Gitex Shopper to see some of the popular devices in the gaming market from companies like Logitech, Alienware and Razer.

Sitting at Dell’s Alienware counter is an 18.4 inch screen game PC with a multi-coloured LED light keyboard. The Alienware M18X PC, which is priced at Dh16,599, has an i7 processor and offers 3D screen gaming. For a lower cost option, there’s the M14X for Dhs 6,999, which has customisable LED lights.

Meanwhile, Logitech headsets, speakers and mice can be bought for reduced prices at V.V. and Sons’ counter, a Dubai-based reseller of consumer electronics.

You can buy a mouse for Dh250, originally priced at Dh349.

“We have 15 per cent more gaming products at Gitex this year from last year,” Mohammad Musthafa, sales executive at the company said.

Emax, meanwhile, are selling Razer mice, mouse pads, keyboards and headsets. Coming new to the market is the Razer Naga Hex Expert Moba/Action mouse, which will be released after Shopper ends, according to an Emax official. The wired mouse has six mechanical thumb keys on the sides, with which gamers can make up to 250 clicks per minute. Additionally, it has interchangeable thumb rests that cater to users’ different thumb sizes and grip types.
