Dubai: Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the integrated free zone technology park, is set to host its 17th TechForum focusing on smart city technology and its social and commercial implications for the GCC region. The event will take place on November 11 at DSOA headquarters bringing together technology professionals, experts, academics and students. In the opening session, Muammar Al Katheeri, Vice-President — Engineering Management and Chairman of the Smart City Committee at DSOA, will highlight the organisation’s contribution to the Dubai Smart City vision with a special focus on the newly launched Dh1.1 billion Smart City project — the Silicon Park.

The 17th edition of TechForum is supported by Silicon Oasis Capital and Silicon Oasis Founders, a technology incubation centre owned by DSOA that encourages local entrepreneurial talent in the promising mobile application space and related technologies.
