LG invests Dh30m to revamp Dubai showroom

Dubai: LG Gulf has revamped its first showroom at Dubai Mall with an investment of Dh30 million.

Yong Geun Choi, president of LG Gulf, told Gulf News that LG has four exclusive showrooms in the Middle East – Jordan, Lebanon, Iran and the UAE.

On whether it is the right time to invest due to low oil prices and economic slowdown, he said that opportunities in the GCC are tremendous and this lucrative market mirrors robust potential for brands globally.

“Following Dubai’s successful Expo 2020 bid, the UAE is now at the epicenter of a global retail revolution. In the run-up to Expo 2020, the next few years will see substantial investments in the booming retail electronics industry,” he said.

He added that LG is planning to open exclusive showrooms in every country and in more cities in the UAE.
