Dubai: As tackling cyber threats rise in the priority list of both public and private organisations, the Future Technology Week -- taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from March 29-31 -- will put the spotlight on equipping organisations with the technical know-how and secured IT infrastructure against potential attacks.

The event was inaugurated by Lt Gen Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Police and General Security in Dubai.

Future Technology Week is a new, collective banner encompassing four specialised industry trade platforms - Gulf Information Security Expo and Conference (GISEC), Gulf Enterprise Mobility Exhibition & Conference (GEMEC), the Internet of Things Expo (IoTX) and The Big Data Show.

Internet of Things Expo (IoTX) opens on March 29 and concludes on March 30, GEMEC runs on March 29, GISEC opens on March 30 and ends on March 31, and the one-day The Big Data Show runs on March 31.
