Dubai: People can now travel in time and be in all the top events happening in the Middle East from their mobile phone by controlling what they want to see through 360-degree interactive videos.
A Dubai-based company — 360 MEA — has launched a mobile virtual app allowing full control of 360 videos with the simple swipe of a finger or the motion of a mobile screen.
The concept of virtual reality is gaining ground with Facebook’s Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear. HTC has recently showcased its new VR headset at Mobile World Congress and many players are slowing entering into the space.
The 360 MEA mobile app is available to download from Apple or Google Play stores.
“The mobile application will help save people’s time while taking them a step closer to reality. The 360 MEA mobile applications is one of the biggest new innovations that will change the world in the coming years,” said Khaled Zaatarah, Founder of 360 MEA.
He said the ability to allow people to control what they want to see in a video with the simple touch of their finger or motion of their phone will bring a “whole new dimension” to the latest events, exclusive real estate properties, top destinations of countries and even conferences any time and anywhere.
Weekly update
He said the app will be updated weekly with new events, projects, top destinations and exclusive real estate properties all with astonishing interactive 360 degree videos free.
He said that people will be able to view panoramic 360 degree videos of Burj Khalifa, the Atlantis Guinness World Records fireworks, swim with sharks at Dubai Mall, the Fashion Forward event, the Illusionists 2.0, the ONE FC fighting championship, the Dubai Boat Show, the Dubai Grand Parade with 500 top luxury cars, and much more from their mobile phones.
“We are a customer-focused company. Our primary aim is to provide affordable yet big-impact solutions, to individuals and companies, looking for videos beyond imagination for their services, events or locations. Internet users today are demanding visual information at the click of a button whilst customers are requiring cost-effective quality,” he said.
The 360 videos can be viewed via the internet, applications, social media and mobile devices.
