Dubai Bank awarded top marketing honour
Bank announced that it has been awarded the top honour in marketing strategy at the International Islamic Finance Forum Awards 2010 held last month.

Dubai Bank was represented at the event by Waleed Saeed Al Awadi (above), Deputy Chief Marketing Officer, who received the award for Best Marketing Strategy in Islamic Finance 2010 on behalf of the bank. The awards accredited the bank for demonstrating innovation and creativity in the marketing of its products.

Internet advertising grows in Saudi Arabia
Internet advertising is fast gaining prominence in Saudi Arabia and is expected to grow at a high compounded annual growth rate of 32 per cent. Other research shows that top trends in the branding and communications industry for 2010 are cross-media advertising campaigns, commercialisation of social networks and interactive online advertisements.

Saatchi & Saatchi has confirmed the appointment of Adil Khan as regional CEO for Saatchi & Saatchi, Middle East, North Africa (Mena). Khan joins Saatchi & Saatchi on June 15.
