French advertising group Publicis Groupe said Wednesday it has acquired Flip Media, a digital media agency in the Middle East.
The agency will be part of Leo Burnett Worldwide and will keep its name, Publicis Groupe said in an emailed statement. The company didn't disclose a value for the deal.
"Flip Media is a strategic and cultural fit for our company," said Tom Bernardin, chief executive at Leo Burnett Worldwide, in the statement.
"We believe its service offering of digital strategy, design, production and content delivery will be a perfect complement," he added.
Flip Media's founders, Martin Diessner and Dinesh Lalvani, will continue to be involved with the new entity as non-executive directors. Yousef Tuqan will remain the company's chief executive, reporting into Leo Burnett's Middle East and North Africa CEO, Raja Trad, the statement added.
Flip Media was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Dubai. The agency provides end-to-end solutions, including digital strategy, according to the statement.
