Abu Dhabi: Radio Asia Network, a prominent Indian radio broadcaster in the UAE, is launching its new Malayalam and Tamil radio station Super 94.7 FM today.

The new station offers a blend of Malayalam and Tamil content for the vast South Asian diaspora in the UAE.

It has a team of experienced radio jockeys, supported by a tech savvy production team and state of the art infrastructure, said a press release.

The other stations in the network are Radio Asia 1269 AM, the first Malayalam radio station in the region, and Suno 102.4 FM, the latest addition to the stable of Hindi stations in the UAE.

"Radio Asia Network is proud to present its new venture to the Malayalam and Tamil speaking community who have been supporting us for over 18 years," said Srinjoy Bose, vice-chairman of the network and recently appointed Member of the Indian Parliament in the Rajya Sabha (Upper House).

Super 94.7 FM offers a full variety of programming ranging from total entertainment to the latest news, said Kish Bandopadhyay, executive director of the network.

The new station will introduce radio jockeys, such as Aaryan, Hash, Kidilam Feroz, Lakshmi Narayana, Mithra, Nandhana, Nirmal,and Tinku.

The news team is headed by Firos Sali Mohammed and Venukumar who have a track record on television and radio news channels.
