Dubai: A regional entity, RGH Entertainment, has left its clear imprint on ‘Postman Pat: The Movie’, the animated film which had its premiere in the UK last week.

“Partnering with Lionsgate UK and Classic Media is testament to the level of creativity and latest techniques in stereoscopic CG that RGH Entertainment has developed,” said Randa Ayoubi, CEO of Rubicon Group Holding and executive producer of the film.

“Postman Pat is an incredibly popular IP and we have treated his character with the same amount of affection and love that fans have for him across the world.”

Postman Pat made its initial mark in 1981 as an animated children’s television series that follows the adventures of Pat Clifton, a postman in the fictional British village of Greendale. It was subsequently translated and broadcast in more than 80 markets.

For the movie version, Rupert Grint (from the Harry Potter franchise) and recording star Ronan Keating provided the voices.
