Dubai: The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and the Dubai Economic Department (DED) recently confirmed Cheil to handle their respective advertising, strategic planning and communication requirements. The selection followed two separate pitches. “Both pitches were based upon a promise to develop ideas that move seamlessly across channels — from above the line to through the line, and from online to offline,” said Azmi Yafi, chief operating officer at Cheil Middle East. “We are combining our South Korean way of working (known as Tuhon) with local insights to develop communications that support the vision of Dubai through DEWA and DED.”
