Saudi Arabia will seek private investment in its effort to develop solar power and other forms of renewable energy, the governor of the kingdom’s Electricity and Co-Generation Regulatory Authority said.
The country plans for solar projects to become operational within 10 years, Abdullah Al Shehri told a conference today in Riyadh. Saudi Arabia is restructuring its electricity industry and will allow more private investment in power generation, he said.
