Muscat: The way forward for various businesses and the Omani economy in general is up for debate this month, with the Oman Economic Review, in association with Capital Market Authority, holding its annual debate at the Muscat Securities Market on October 25.
Over 200 movers and shakers from Oman's corporate sector are expected to attend. Nima Abu Wardeh, presenter of BBC's Middle East Business Report, will moderate the debate.
"This year's event has evolved into an integrated business symposium which encompasses the key themes that form the business environment of today and tomorrow," said Sandeep Sehgal, Chief Executive of United Media Services.
"Carrying the theme ‘The way ahead — Road to Vision 2020', the forum's discussions are expected to be dominated by the numerous socio-economic challenges facing the country."
The future
The event covers not only globalisation and economics, human capital, motivation and diplomacy but also has a strong focus on the future, examining a new age in leadership, the changing business landscape, and economic trends impacted by the slowdown in major world markets.
