The plot From feel-good king Garry Marshall, this film tells the tale of one New Year's Eve in New York (like its predecessor Valentine's Day, just not quite as good). From a weird fauxmance between Michelle Pfieffer and Zac Efron, to a bickering couple courtesy of Katherine Heigl and Bon Jon Jovi, overall this film feels a bit cheesy and forced, but some storylines are heartwarming.

Barbie - A Mermaid Tale 2

The plot A Barbis animation's not for everyone, granted, but for those of you who need to keep your little angel's entertained for an hour or so will love it! Telling the story of a mermaid who enters a surfing competition, it has dashes of conflict (there's an evil queen) and a good message for everyone, which is not to let competitiveness rule your life.
