The plot Get your tissues out, people - this right here is The Notebook of 2012 (even the trailer had us moistening up). Telling the true story of a passionately in love couple whose lives are turned upside down when a car accident puts Paige (McAdams) in a coma that she wakes up from with no memory of her past life, even of her beloved husband Leo (Tatum - hubba, hubba!).
Still enamoured of his wife, Leo sets out to do all he can to woo her and win her heart all over again - which is certainly harder than it was the first time round.
This is an all-encompassing love story with great performances from the two leads; we will say, however, that one thing is completely unbelievable about the plot: If you woke up from a coma and a man who looked like Channing Tatum was claiming to be your husband, would you protest? No, didn't think so.
