Dubai: American reality star and fashion designer Whitney Port landed in Dubai on Tuesday night and started tweeting about it right away.
The star of MTV's The Hills is in the UAE to attend the launch of Symphony Style, a new fashion boutique at Dubai Mall which stocks her collection, Whitney Eve.
"In Dubai. Haven't even left the airport and I already love it here," she tweeted after landing at Dubai International Airport.
The excitement clearly hadn't worn off, as she woke early and posted pictures of the view from her hotel room in Downtown Burj Khalifa on her blog, whitneyport.celebuzz.com.
"Too hungry to go back to sleep. Enjoying a cup of Joe with Paigey on our patio. Wake up Daddy so we can eat!"
Port is here with her sister Paige and father Jeff for the opening, which takes place on Thursday.
Other guests include Project Runway winner Christian Siriano, who also tweeted about his trip, "Leaving London tomorrow, excited to go to Dubai, I had to have one more fish and chips", and designer Erin Featherston.
