Brad and Angelina could be on their way to the UAE next month if they accept an invitation to The Noble Humanitarian Awards Middle East in Abu Dhabi.

"They are at the top of my wish list," said Janeen Mansour, the founder of the awards, which held its first ceremony in Los Angeles in October.

"They are the biggest humanitarian couple and they would be a dream come true if they would accept. I invited them to the LA event and they were kind enough to reply but said their schedules just didn't allow time."

Luckily, that event had the support of A-list celebrities, including Morgan Freeman, Teri Hatcher, Joel Madden and Lionel Richie.

Now Mansour, who is based between California and the UAE, is putting the final touches to the second event, taking place at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi on April 24.

"The film world has the Oscars, the music business the Grammys and now the charity world has The Noble Awards," she said.

The Noble Humanitarian Awards Middle East will be a VIP-only gala dinner awards show recognising the achievements of charity organisations.

"In LA, we honoured the non-superficial, hard work of celebrities, who do so much more than just look pretty on the red carpet.

"In the UAE, we are trying to raise awareness for the charities by inviting the celebrities. We also hope to encourage local celebrities to recognise the power they have and help organisations who could benefit from their support or celebrity endorsement," said Mansour.

Ragheb Alama, Nancy Ajram, Yousrah and Hussain Al Jasmi are among the celebrities on the guest list although none have confirmed yet.

A touch of Hollywood is also on the cards with Morgan Freeman and Charlize Theron at the top of the list.

The inaugural Noble Awards took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on October 18, with Morgan Freeman receiving The Lifetime Achievement Award. "This annual event and movement will inspire the next generation to ‘Be A Noble' throughout their lives and to inspire humanity," said Mansour.
