Los Angeles: Police say “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria Parker has been involved in a minor traffic accident in Hollywood.
Los Angeles police Sergeant Kara Silverstein of the department's West Traffic Division says the actress was heading eastbound on Hollywood Boulevard at about 7.30pm Wednesday when another driver made an unsafe left turn into a parking lot and hit Longoria Parker’s car.
Silverstein says the actress complained of pain but was not seriously injured.
Longoria Parker plays the role of Gabrielle on the ABC show.
Longoria Parker was recently in the news for splashing out a whopping $8 million on a luxury apartment in Switzerland. The actor and her basketball player husband Tony Parker already have two homes in Los Angeles and San Antonio. Their third home in Switzerland overlooks Lake Geneva.
Longoria’s husband was completely smitten by the property. “It has the most beautiful view that I’ve ever had the opportunity to see. Being very near to Geneva, it is the ideal conjunction of tranquil countryside and urban life, perfect for my holiday,” he said.
