Contrary to media reports, actress Eva Longoria is not planning to adopt a child from Haiti, sources close to her have said.
Recent media reports said that the 35-year-old American actress had her heart set on adopting a child, but sources close to the Desperate Housewives star say otherwise, reports contactmusic.com.
"She is not focusing on motherhood. Eva is spending time with her family, lawyers and her special-needs sister," said her close friend.
"She's not in the emotional state to become a mother right now..." she added.
The actress filed for divorce from her husband Tony Parker, but met the basketball player, 28, for a lunch date on Wednesday afternoon, reports the Daily Mail.
The couple were photographed at the Ocean Lounge restaurant of the Oceana Hotel in Santa Monica.
A friend of the couple insisted they weren't reconciling, telling Us Weekly magazine: "It was just a friendly lunch to work out the details of the divorce."
