Dubai: A leading newspaper in India is claiming that the Bachchan family has registered the name ‘Aaradhya Bachchan' for the baby girl born to Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan nearly four months ago. Until now, the child was nicknamed Beti B.
The registration is reported to have been done two days ago.
A Sanskrit word for "one who's worth worshipping" or "the first one", the reports - if true - will put a lid on the curiosity revolving around the christening.
Notoriously private, the first family of Bollywood have kept a low profile since the birth of the child on November 16 last year and have rejected lucrative deals offered by magazines for the first pictures of the baby.
