Nancy Ajram had a hush-hush wedding in Cyprus and spent her honeymoon on a European island, according to a three sentence statement by the Lebanese star's press office.

The lucky man in Ajram's life is a dentist, Fady Hashem, whom she has been seeing since she popped into his clinic three years ago. Details of the wedding have not been confirmed, but it is rumoured to have been preceded by a religious ceremony in Tunis a few weeks ago. Ajram had been in Tunisia for the Carthage festival, with Hashem accompanying her publicly for the first time.

The civil marriage was followed by a dinner for family. More receptions will be held during Ramadan, two of which will be in the Phoenicia hotel in Beirut.

Speculation is rife about where the couple will settle down, but it is expected to be either in Hashem's Beirut apartment or Ajram's new villa close to the Lebanese capital.
