Dubai: A Dubai-based pet clinic has launched a new pet care app called MVC App in the UAE. The application is available for free download on iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
“Using this application, 24-hour pet emergency numbers will just be a touch away. This will help people save a lot of time searching on Google for emergency pet contacts or sifting through their visiting cards,” explained Rebecca Turner, Clinic Manager, Modern Veterinary Clinic.
From August 1, pet owners will be able to order for pet food using the MVC App. “People can choose to have their order dropped off at home or they can come and pick it up at the clinic. Prices of the food will compare with that available in pet stores,” said Turner.
The MVC app will also have a GPS location feature to guide people to the clinic.
“Instead of asking us for directions, people just need to click on the GPS location tab which will pick the user’s location and connect him to the Google map from where he will be guided to the clinic. Another feature of the app will be that pet owners can make their appointments and keep a tab of using the app.”
