Dubai: Growing old, much like growing up, may soon be a matter of choice for many, if Dr Mosaraf Ali, the celebrity doctor whose clientele ranges from Hollywood’s who’s who to the British Royal Family, is to be believed.

The 61-year-old Kolkata-born physician from London was in Dubai earlier this week to launch his ‘Time Reversal Programme’. He told XPRESS how people can come out feeling a lot younger after attending his three-week wellness programme exclusively available at the Carnoustie Ayurveda and Wellness Resort in Kerala.

Those attending his programme, he claims, will see a near 10 per cent vision improvement, 40 to 60 per cent increase in flexibility, overall muscles firmness, an appreciable weight loss and an almost 15 per cent increase in collagen, the main structural protein of the connective tissues.

“It may not be clinically tried yet, but it is time-tested and certainly well researched,” says the proponent of integrated medicine whose clients include Hollywood stars Morgan Freeman, Sylvester Stallone and Samuel L Jackson to pop stars Geri Halliwell and supermodel Kate Moss.

His technique, says Dr Ali, is inspired by Kaya Kalpa, an ancient Indian art of rejuvenation. Yoga, meditation, massage and diet form the backbone of the treatment, but he claims his techniques are different. “I create my own therapies. For example, the yoga used is organ-based and its main goal is to draw blood to every part of the body, thus replenishing its nourishment and removing waste,” he says.
