The park located to the north-east of the Dubai World Trade Centre is divided into three areas that can be easily reached by pedestrian footbridges.

Around Dh200 million was invested in the park, which aims to provide something to each visitor.

Recreation

There is a boating lake and lakeside restaurant; a sports centre; exhibition gallery; an activity area including mini golf, adventure play, a skateboard park and a BMX track; informal recreation areas, barbeque facilities, shaded seating and play areas and refreshment kiosks.

It covers an area of 47.5 hectares and features a series of high-tech interactive displays including educational and recreational exhibits grouped into three zones such as Alternative Energy zone, Communications zone and Techno zone. It also has a maze modelled on the solar system.

Mega bowl

The park also has a jogging track of 4.3-kilometre and a mega bowl, which can be used for weddings, parties, birthday functions and other events. There is a mini cricket pitch as well.

Zabeel Park has a boating lake in the southern part of the park, filled from a stream cascading down a series of natural rock facades. Pedal boats, row boats and motor boats meander around the lake.

For kids or the elderly, Zabeel Park is a lush green part of Dubai that continues to attract visitors every weekend.
