The annual event in London honours style leaders and celebrities

After Sunday night’s star-studded Grammy Awards, the awards season party continued across the Atlantic with the annual Elle Style Awards in London. The red carpet was rolled out for the likes of Hollywood stars Kate Hudson, Bradley Cooper, Chloe Moretz and Bond girl Naomie Harris. They were joined by model Daisy Lowe, socialite Pixie Geldof and Dubai regulars Livia Firth (Colin Firth’s wife), singer Sophie Ellis Bextor and designer Henry Holland, with a very interesting pair of trousers. The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood was there, with brand new wife Sally Humphreys, to present the Breakthrough Performance award. Of course, what’s a style awards night without designers: Stella McCartney was honoured with the Best International Designer, Christopher Kane got the Best British Designer of the Year and Simone Rocha, daughter of well-known designer John Rocha, was given the Next Young Designer of the Year Award.
